So, here's what I published in 2020:

NOVELS:

LILITU: THE MEMOIRS OF A SUCCUBUS

Publisher: Crystal Lake Publishing

This is the big one. My demonic debut novel, finally out after nearly a decade of writing, rewriting, critiquing, more rewriting, giving up, and finding hope again. I'm very proud of it, and it's hard not to be miffed that my release timing was so unlucky.

LILITU launched in late March, literally a week after California went into lockdown from Covid-19. All the bookstores closed and all the promotion I had planned was effectively nullified. Since then I've been doing what I can to promote it online, but it's been hard to increase readership as a new/unknown author. But I've heard nothing but enthusiastic praise from everyone who's read it, and that means the world to me.

Hellbound Books is still finalizing the audiobook, but that's coming soon. I'm really excited for people to hear it. I'm also still working on LILITU Book 2, but am currently prioritizing two other projects that are much closer to completion, so it's going to be a while before that's ready.

SHORT STORIES:

LILITU: LILITH IN REPOSE

Publisher: Crystal Lake Publishing

A free short story set in the LILITU universe, released to help promote the novel. It's got demon nuns.

MOLARTHROAT

Publisher: Crystal Lake Publishing

SHALLOW WATERS, VOL. 6

A toothsome flash fiction horror story in CLP's SHALLOW WATERS, VOL. 6. Don't really want to say much because it's flash fiction.

BOUNDLESS URBANIA

Publisher: The Awkward Robots

Appeared in THE VIOLET VOLUME

Not really "published," but including it here anyway for completion's sake. My Clarion class of 2012, the Awkward Robots, put out their latest charity anthology, THE VIOLET VOLUME. I included a short story BOUNDLESS URBANIA for it. It's a speculative horror story about a city with no apparent end.

2020 has been extremely difficult for us all. Thank you everyone who has read any of my work this year.

Pandemics, endless cities, witches, and more await in THE VIOLET VOLUME, the Awkward Robots' seventh annual charity anthology for the Clarion Writing program! Pay what you want for nine original pieces of fresh, mind-expanding fiction. https://gumroad.com/l/violetvol

It's a crazy time, but here we are. Every year, my Clarion class of 2012--known as the Awkward Robots--puts out a new anthology as a charity for the Clarion Writing Program.
